We are a non-government organization and a not-for-profit private school. Yes, we are obligated to follow the general rules of school programs and criteria set by the Government of Madagascar.
The Malagasy government also encourages the opening of private schools because there are not enough public schools to meet the needs of the population.
We met & exceeded those educational standards, rules & regulations set by the Government of Madagascar including a health certificate from the Health Department
August 1, 2014 we received our license to operate a school.
Baobab School opened Oct 6, 2014, the official first day of school. Not sure who was more happy, my wife and I or the students, I think it was the children who were happier.
